Piston Depositor
CThis short video is of a 12 piston depositor that was designed to fill
loaf cake pans with two different flavours of batter. The depositor was
configured with two sets of 6 pistons, and the hopper is a split design
to keep the two flavours separate. As the pans pass beneath the depositor
head, each row of pistons is activated twice to achieve the white-chocolate-white-chocolate
pattern evident in the video. The batter is later swirled in the pans
to create a marble cake effect.
